Are my notes saved if I close the browser?
Yes, notes are stored in your browser's localStorage, which persists between sessions. However, if you clear browsing data or use incognito mode, notes will be lost. For permanent backups, download your notes as a .txt file.
Is there a text limit?
The browser's localStorage has a limit of approximately 5MB, which equals millions of text characters. For most uses, this limit is more than sufficient. If you need to store more text, we recommend downloading notes and starting a new one.
Are my notes sent to any server?
No. All storage is 100% local in your browser. Your notes are never sent to any external server, ensuring total privacy and offline functionality.
