Do QR codes have an expiration date?
No. Static QR codes like the ones this tool generates do not expire. They work as long as the content they point to exists (for example, the URL).
Can I customize the QR colors?
Yes, you can change both the code color and the background color. Make sure to keep enough contrast so scanners can read it.
What QR size should I choose?
For screens or social media, 256px is sufficient. For printing (business cards, posters), use 512px or 1024px for better quality.
How much information can a QR code store?
A QR code can store up to 4,296 alphanumeric characters. For long URLs, we recommend using our URL shortener first.
