Peru CTS Calculator: calculate your Compensacion por Tiempo de Servicios

Compensacion por Tiempo de Servicios (CTS) is an employment benefit in Peru that acts as unemployment insurance. Employers deposit CTS semi-annually into the employee's chosen financial institution: the May deposit covers November-April, and November covers May-October.

CTS is calculated as the monthly salary plus one-sixth of the last gratification, multiplied by the months and days worked in the semester, divided by 12. It includes concepts such as family allowance, regular overtime and regular commissions.

Private sector workers with a minimum 4-hour daily schedule and at least one full month of service in the semester are entitled to CTS. Workers can access amounts exceeding 4 gross salaries; the intangible amount is only released upon termination.
