Example: Born Oct 5, 1995. Today: Mar 17, 2026.

• Years: 2026 - 1995 = 31... but Oct hasn't come yet.
• Months: Oct→Mar = 5 months
• Days: 5th→17th = 12 days
• Exact age: 30 years, 5 months, 12 days

Complication: If born Jan 31, "one month later" is... Feb 28? Mar 1? Date libraries handle these ambiguities.

Korean age: Born with 1 year, add 1 every Jan 1st. Born Dec 31 = 2 years old next day. South Korea officially abolished this in 2023.

Chinese: Similar. Traditional counting from conception (9 months before birth).

Hebrew calendar: Lunar. Jewish birthdays fall on different Gregorian dates each year.
